meets iriver story HD e-reader the FCC, US retailers as next?

By Donald Melanson posted Apr 21 2011 4:24 PM not much about the iRiver story HD e-reader as it literally landed in our laps at CES in January, but it looks as it could now finally one U.S. Start approaching be heard. The e-reader is only up to the FCC, where it was thoroughly tested and disassembled (see the link) below for some more evidence. This is not always a sure sign that a U.S. Imminent start is, but it probably scheint-in this case - especially when you consider that this iriver has a number of U.S. content partnerships for the device already strung. As for the e reader itself, it is similar in size of the Kindle and grabs a 6-inch 1024 x 768 display, together with a 800 MHz Coretx-A8 processor, 2 GB internal memory, SD card slot for expansion and WiFi connectivity. In other words, it remains unchanged from CES, which means that our preview only as relevant as ever and ever.
