Acer Windows based Iconia W500 for pre-order for $549, ships April 15th

By Dana Wollman posted 11th Apr 2011 8: 28 AM Acer announced UK pricing for Windows 7 and Android from the Iconia tab, and now is versions comb it is ready to take both stateside. 3.0-Powered Iconia tab A500 began days after best buy under pre-orders for the Android, the Windows-based W500 has shown up on B & H's website for $549. Like his cousin, the W500 has a 10-inch display (1280 x 800), HDMI output and dual cameras, although it is up to 2 GB RAM steps, 32 GB memory, AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics and a 1 GHz Ontario (C-50) AMD Fusion APU. It also comes with a keyboard dock, by it in the same range as ASUS Android-based Eee transformer, the less expensive but its similar-looking keyboard doesn't include. Acer prices of the W500 3-cell battery for up to six hours-far from the iPad promised 10 hours and perhaps a good reason slates wait with this lower power APU AMD's Fusion was shopping around to Tablet makers. B & H says it will order now enough ship from April 15, but head on over to his site if you are turned up. Or you can save your pennies for Acer other Iconia to keep.
