before recently drop $500 on an apogee Duet audio interface for your Mac after mulling one for all these years? Then we have fear, we have a bit of bad news for you, as the company now ultimately very desirable has a successor to the device roll-out. Apparently new designed the new Duet, 2 as expected FireWire in favor of USB ditches, and a few packs a configurable touch pads, and even some "completely redesigned" mic preamps and converters, together with two inputs and four outputs, all new OLED display, which replaced the basic LED meters on the original. Of course, the one thing that remains the same is the professional price - look for it a you back $595, if it is available next month.[Thanks, Maxwell]
