DROID fee joins Verizon Wireless' DROID family as Samsung's first 4 G LTE Smartphone

BASKING RIDGE, n.j. Verizon Wireless and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung mobile) today announced that the droid will be charge by Samsung at www.verizonwireless.com available April 28 in Verizon Wireless Communications stores and online.

-4 G LTE - customers can expect download speeds from 5 to 12 MBit/S and upload speeds of 2 to 5 mobile broadband coverage Mbit/S in 4 g field

-Android 2.2 platform - with support for Google mobile services such as Gmail, YouTube ?, Google talk, Google search, Google maps, and access to more than 150,000 apps from Android market ? for download available

-Adobe ? Flash ? Player compatible

-Mobile HotSpot capability - share 4 G connection with up to 10 WiFi enabled devices or 3 g/UMTS with up to 5 devices

Pricing and data plans:

-The cargo droid by Samsung will be available for $299.99 with a new two year customer agreement.

-Droid for free customers need a plan of Verizon Wireless nationwide talk and a 4 g subscribe to LTE packet. Nationwide, plans start talk at $39.99 monthly access. Unlimited 4 G LTE data packages start at $29.99 monthly access. Mobile HotSpot feature will be included for a limited time at no extra charge.
