Google latitude, now with 100% more check-in offers

By Jesse Hicks posted 11th Apr 2011 2:05 PM a few months back, Google brought latitude, its location sharing service, check-ins by Google maps 5.1 for Android. Of course, iPhone users only recently get the same functionality, but some would argue that they are at all should be thankful. (Joke.) Kind of.) Now, latitude's inching closer to direct competition with foursquare and GroupOn of check-in offers from retailers such as RadioShack, American Eagle, Quiznos, and finish line. Google is currently about a dozen nationwide partner Namechecking, and this list will certainly increase as the train approaches Mach 5. Curious how this all works? Check-in at the Radio Shack, for example, and possibly get off 10% an in-store to buy. Offers are at latitude's three-tier status system; at check-in frequency, building better deals means higher status. If you rather close viewed would before you decide to leave, check-in, head to Google's official page in the source code the House link below.
