iRobot type nuclear Packbots Fukushima plants to gather data, photograph, save life (video)

iRobot provided recently some robots to the nuclear power plant in Fukushima Daiichi in Japan, where intensive levels of radiation have made it increasingly dangerous for human rescue workers to use. The remote-controlled Packbots's entered Fukushima reactor building on Sunday morning, in the hope with authorities a better idea of what is underworld in the Interior of the plant. Each Packbot entered the plant with a connected video camera so that Tokyo electric power (TEPCO) interior to get live pictures and temperature readings of the troubled reactor building. It would be surely to commit a difficult task for everyone, but especially with dangerous conditions to deal with is the Packbot (in the past, it is used, in order for the US Army bomb defusal). And the Packbot not is not alone. Authorities are also using a mechanical Digger and an unmanned helicopter transporter to wipe some of the rubble outside the plant, while skyward, bird's eye view of the area has been flown to. TEPCO has still want to share details of the Packbots results, but turns on the Sunday mission a success, she will be sent two other reactor buildings, it again to do all over. Check out video and an extra picture of the Packbot, after the break.
