Is a PlayStation Network down for a long count, which Sony? (update: after bottom 24 + hours!)

By Vlad Savov posted 21st 2011 APR 12:55 PM we have was hit by a big pile of dismayed tips from PlayStation gamer today morning, not logging, PlayStation Network are (again). Sony's response was, there is a problem in the very vague terms "we are aware of certain features of PlayStation Network is down" to best?tigen-- and promise an update on the situation as soon as it is available. Oh, this statement was issued over nine hours ago and there is still no word either a repair or an explanation of the revisions. Is the error code provided by the console, see above how to something meaningless, as well as. So come on, Sony, what with your network?

Update: PSN is on his blog EU recognises that the network failure may be a result of "the possibility of targeted behavior by a third". Still no ETA for when services are restored.

Update 2: PSN is now reporting that the network offline for "A day or two."
