Microsoft details of Windows phone 7 by the numbers: 11,500 apps, 36,000 developers

Also, it is revealed that Windows phone 7 users 12 apps every month on average download, that it adds currently 1,200 new developers of this week, and that 1,100 apps on the market are ad-supported, and generate revenue with its ad management platform.
