SRI is Taurus, DaVinci's bomb mitigating little brother

Brought you by the minds behind the DaVinci of Robo surgeon, the diminutive serves (14 x 5 inch) bad boy to detect and defuse IEDs. Piggy support on existing devices such as Talon and PackBot, provides the device of hi def 3D images and haptic feedback (via gloves) to a bomb disposal tech operation of safer distance. According to IEEE Spectrum, it works so well that users forget that they are working remotely. Right now it is a prototype, but with a little luck it could in the field as early as this summer.
